Happy Friday!

I am so ecstatic that the weekend is finally here because I have a long weekend! I am off Monday & Tuesday and working from home on Wednesday so I will finally have the time to catch up on some emails ūüėė I am also really excited because a friend of mine has sent me some Monat Samples to try so I will be trying those this weekend and updating you on them on my stories. Just a disclaimer though, I do not work for their company nor am I being paid to say how I feel about them. I will always give my complete and honest opinion, & I only have a small sample so I cannot truly tell how it will be long term just how my hair feels that day.

Anyway, I love running errands in some leggings and layers, and lately this outfit has been my go-to! I got this sweater a few seasons ago from Calvin Klein and still love & wear it all the time. When I am out and about I don’t like to always wear heavy coats so this jean jacket and sweater combo keeps me pretty warm!

I am wearing a medium in the jacket which is big but I wanted to be able to layer sweatshirts underneath it. The leggings I am wearing a size S and they fit super comfy. And for the sweater, I am wearing a medium to be able to layer items underneath when it gets really cold!

What’s your go to outfit to wear when you are out running errands?

Happy Tuesday!

I hope those of you in cold weather are bundling up because it’s a cold one today! As the weather continues to transition, I love finding ways to still wear “summer” items during the various seasons. One thing I absolutely love, is layering pieces over summer dresses! Depending on the dress and items used, you can make such a cute outfit.

I couldn’t get over how cute this plaid dress was and knew I had to find a way to wear it in the fall, so I thought this adorable sweater at franscesca’s and decided to layer them with some OTK boots. The dress is from SHEIN, so see my post about sizing here (wearing a size medium here and it’s not super tight) and the sweater is slightly big so I would size down (wearing a small).

I knew this sweater would be so cute layered and I’m so glad it is. Other ways you can wear it would be over a collared shirt for work or ever with jeans and a leather jacket with some booties for a date night. Loving how versatile these pieces are!

What pieces in your closet do you love layering?

Cozy Turtleneck

Turtleneck Sweater 1 // Turtle Neck Sweater 2 // Turtleneck Sweater 3 // Jeans // Booties // Leather Jacket

Every fall, I try to find more and more ways to keep warm because in New Jersey, it seems to entirely skip fall and go to the cool temperatures of low 50’s. Investing in a few good basic pieces is so important in a fall wardrobe. I love turtle neck sweaters and fell in love with this cut off turtleneck Sweater when I first saw it.

I bought this turtle neck sweater at TJ Maxx from Ivanka Trumps line last fall. It is a cut off but is extremely cozy. I got it because it is so versatile and can be worn alone or over a long sleeve shirt/dress. I am wearing a medium here and it is kind of big but I wanted it that way so I could layer it. I have linked some similar items sweaters below! I also love how it can be worn tucked or untucked into jeans, depending on the look you are going for!

These jeans and booties have been on repeat lately because they are so comfortable and really go well with everything. This leather jacket from express has also become a favorite of mine (wearing size M). It pairs well with anything and comes in 14 different colors. Express always has such great clothing and styles and this leather moto jacket did not disappoint.

Hey Babes, Happy Thursday! Not sure about for you, but this week has gone by so slow for me. I don’t know if its because Riley’s stitches finally come out this weekend, and I cannot wait for that, or what, but I cannot wait for the weekend!

I am so excited about today’s outfit, because everyone seems to be loving the Shein clothing I did a try on haul for, and this features one of the items as well as others that I have previously purchased. Other than my booties and bag, I got my ENTIRE look from SheIn and I am loving it!

I bought this cute skirt, sweater, and bralette all for just $34 ! If you are wanting to add some cute pieces to your fall collection but do not want to spend a fortune, check out SheIn! The boots and clutch are both Stuart Weitzman, which can be a little pricey, so I have also linked some more affordable options!

SIZING

Since a bunch of you always ask about sizing from SHEIN, I wanted to share the sizing for the items I got so that you can compare.

General- I usually wear a size 27 jeans (4), 4/6 in dresses, and S or M in skirts/pants/shirts depending on the cut.

Skirt- I ordered a size Large. The comments said to size up and noted that it’s a skirt but has a thin lining of shorts on the inside that are a bit tight. Large gave me space to move around in them without feeling like it was tight or constricting. It’s a little loose around my waist but fits!

Bralette- This is a one-size only item. It’s strapped in the back so wasn’t constricting or tight at all.

Sweater- Wearing a size small and it’s perfect!

Hope everyone has a great rest of their week! What are your weekend plans?

Nina

The Most Perfect Ruffle Sweater

Ruffle Sweater // Jeans // Booties

Hi Babes! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. I shared this gorgeous sweater on my stories yesterday and everyone is loving it! I have always ordered clothing from Amazon because it is honestly so simple and with Prime I get all of my items within two days. This has come in handy when I need something the week of an event and it comes in within two days & if I decide I do not like the item, it is free returns. I have become an Amazon Fashion fan & can’t wait to show you guys what else I got!

My husband, my in-laws and I went pumpkin picking yesterday and it was so much fun! It was a nice crisp day out and perfect for the pumpkin patch. We went to¬†Wightman’s Farm¬†which is honestly one of my favorite places. It has become so much more popular so it was extremely busy but they have so much to do there. They have apple picking, pumpkin picking with a hay ride, pumpkin sling shot, various food trucks, a picnic spot, and a store where you can buy fresh donuts, pies, groceries, home decor, and treats! I also have to mention that they have roasted corn on a stick and pickles on a stick! So good!

Anyway, this sweater came right on time and handy this weekend because we had plans to go Pumpkin picking and it was about 60 degrees out! Although this sweater is not heavy, it still kept me plenty warm!¬† The ruffle detail on the front and on the sleeves is adorable and I got so many comments on it at the pumpkin patch. I am wearing a size small in this sweater and I would say it is TTS. I love clothing in the color olive for the fall so when I saw these light olive jeans, I knew I had to have them. I am wearing a size 4 for reference and they fit very TTS. Lastly, I got these booties two seasons ago but am still obsessing over them. They aren’t extremely high and look perfect with jeans, so they have become one of my go to’s! I linked similar ones up above.

Do you like ruffle details on tops?

Favorite Fall Booties

Side Tie Bootie // Black Suede Ankle Bootie // Beige Suede Ankle Bootie // Jadet Side Slit Booties // Black Leather Booties

Hi Babes! Booties are my staple shoes for the fall and winter season, they go with jeans, skirts, dresses and even leggings/pants! So today I am sharing my Fall favorites. I tend to buy a lot of booties in the black and beige/brown family because I think they match with everything and are more versatile colors. I do have a few army green colored booties but black and beige have my heart.

I purchased all of these shoes in a 9.5 so they are TTS and fit so comfortably. I think my favorites out of all of these have to be the black suede Rebecca Bootie from DSW. I got them during their warehouse sale and am completely obsessed. The thick heel is adorable. These are a perfect example of a pair of booties that can be styled multiple ways. The other day on my stories, I shared the booties with an embroidered skirt and burnt orange blouse and got so many messages about how cute they looked with a skirt. Yesterday while running errands at the mall, I wore them with jeans and thought they looked adorable. I think it is so important to get shoes that can be used for various outfits and not ones that just fit with one thing!

Which of these booties are your favorite?

Nina
