Black Friday Haul Part 1

Hi Babes!

Happy almost Friday! Is it just me or has this week been dragging on?! I finally got some stuff in that I ordered on Black Friday and figured I would do a Haul for you. I also did a try on session in my stories on Instagram (@waterandwine_) so be sure to check it out!

Anyway, I was really looking for sweaters and cute but casual tops on Black Friday. Ones that can easily be dresses up and down depending on my mood or my plans. I’ll share all sizing info as well and will do another Haul when the rest of my stuff comes in! I ordered a few more things.

Outfit 1: Top, Jeans, Boots

Outfit 2: Top, Faux Leather Spanx, Booties

Outfit 3: Top

Outfit 4: Jacket

Outfit 1: I was looking for a top I could wear with a skirt for either work or everyday that wasn’t too low cut! Target definitely delivered. I would suggest sizing down in this. I thought it would be tight but it was kind of lose. I also thought I ordered the small but I got a medium so I am going to exchange it! The jeans I have had and I am wearing a 27 (size 4). These boots are so cute! They are Jessica Simpson and go to the shin. They are cute to wear with either jeans or a dress/skirt! They are TTS and I’m wearing my normal a 9.5!

Outfit 2: So I am slightly obsessed with this top. I really wanted it in black as well, but I waited to long and it was sold out. It’s the perfect little sweater top if you are hanging out or traveling. It’s extremely light weight and can be dressed up or down. I’m wearing a small here! The spanx faux leather leggings will likely become my favorite go tos. I’m so glad I invested in them. They really suck you in! I am wearing a medium. Lastly, I’ve blogged about my shoes before but I love these Calvin booties! I’m wearing a size 9.5 and they are TTS.

Outfit 3: Another Target find! Love this little casual sweater. The slits on the side make it a little dressier and it’s so comfortable!

Outfit 4: I wasn’t sure about this coat when I first got it but I LOVE it! I ordered a medium hoping I could layer underneath, and I totally can! I think it would look good with jeans or a dress!

What do you think of the outfits? Also let me know what you think of these blog posts of the hauls in the comments below!

Layering Sweaters

Dress – similar Here & Here // Sweater // Boots – similar and cheaper Here & Here

Happy Tuesday!

I hope those of you in cold weather are bundling up because it’s a cold one today! As the weather continues to transition, I love finding ways to still wear “summer” items during the various seasons. One thing I absolutely love, is layering pieces over summer dresses! Depending on the dress and items used, you can make such a cute outfit.

I couldn’t get over how cute this plaid dress was and knew I had to find a way to wear it in the fall, so I thought this adorable sweater at franscesca’s and decided to layer them with some OTK boots. The dress is from SHEIN, so see my post about sizing here (wearing a size medium here and it’s not super tight) and the sweater is slightly big so I would size down (wearing a small).

I knew this sweater would be so cute layered and I’m so glad it is. Other ways you can wear it would be over a collared shirt for work or ever with jeans and a leather jacket with some booties for a date night. Loving how versatile these pieces are!

What pieces in your closet do you love layering?

Fall Look

Sweater (almost gone) similar herehere // Burgundy Jeans (sold out) similar here & here // Shoes (in store only) similar here & here// Hat

Happy Friday babes!!

With fall festivities in full swing, I wanted to share one of my favorite fall outfits and one that I will frequent a bunch! These jeans are so incredibly comfortable and are TTS (I am wearing a size 4 for reference). They are from Charlotte Russe and are currently sold out but I have linked them incase they come back in stock. I have also linked two other pairs that I love.

This sweater has been my favorite since last season. They are selling out fast with the few Vestique still has left so I have also linked some similar ones incase they do. I am huge on hats for any season so this cute brown one is no different. It compliments this outfit perfectly. These shoes are quickly becoming my favorite. I got them from Nordstrom Rack but it seems like they only sell them in store 🙁 so I have linked a few of my other favorite strappy booties for you guys!

Do you have any fun plans booked this weekend? I am going to Atlantic City for my sister’s 25th birthday and am so excited! Let me know what your plans are below!

The Perfect Duster for Any Occassion

Happy Wednesday babes! I love clothing pieces that can be work for multiple occasions and that’s exactly what this gorgeous duster is. It can easily be work with leggings, a dress, jeans, anything! Today I wanted to show you how I would style it with jeans & a dress.

Jeans Pairing

Booties // Black Crop Tank // Jeans // Duster // Bag

These jeans are TTS (for reference I am wearing a size 27 [4]) and fit so comfortable. They aren’t the stiff jeans that you feel you can’t move around in. I also love this criss cross tank because it adds a little style to a plain tank. For size referencing for all items, I am wearing a Small in the duster, size 4 (27) jeans, size 9 booties, and medium tank. When ordering from SheIn, I tend to size up one or two sizes depending on the reviews!

Dress Pairing

Black Dress // Heels – (similar here & here)

I also paired the duster with this gorgeous ruffled dress from SheIn. I got this dress in a size medium but I do just want to mention that I found it to be a bit short. I am 5’8″ so typically items are a bit short on me. Regardless of that though, I absolutely love this body con dress and think that it’s so cute for a night out. The heels I am wearing are Stuart Weitzman, but I shared a few similar ones.

What do you think about the two pairings?

Fall is my absolute favorite time of the year! It’s the one season I look forward to all year long; the leaves start changing, the weather cools off a little, pumpkin & apple picking, etc. Decorating for fall has always been my favorite thing to do (& Christmas!). Today I’m sharing with you my fall front porch decor as well as my go-to fall outfit- a bodysuit, skirt, & OTK boots. Riley has finally made her debut on the blog. She is such a beautiful brown/copper color and I love it!

Today I woke up with a cold which is the only downside of colder weather. I’m also super excited because my husbands desk finally came in so he no longer has to work on our dining room table or a foldable table! Can’t wait to finally set our office up completely!

What’s your week looking like? Do you love the fall weather? What’s your favorite thing about fall?

So I was not sure about this at first. When I ordered it, I thought it was a dress, but when I received it, I realized it was a two piece set. The material is really nice and the floral design is truly beautiful. It fit nicely and I ended up really liking it. I would probably wear this to a graduation party or events like that. It is perfect for spring or summer and was very comfortable. My mom hated it in the package actually but when I put it on she said it actually looked cute and would look cute with a bow or clip in my hair!

The weather has been horrible in NJ lately so I have not been able to take picture outside- don’t mind my fireplace and wall LOL. But I did end up loving this two piece!

Would you wear this?

XOXO,

Nina
