Today is my first day back to work after having a few days off and it’s definitely rough! But, considering tomorrow’s Friday, hopefully these two days go fast! I have a full weekend planned that I am really excited about!

I always look for cute layering items, as you can tell from my last few posts, and always find myself buying vests. They are perfect to go over a shirt or sweater. I found this cute plaid vest on amazon while looking at some clothes and knew I had to have it. I love plaid for the fall and thought this beige one was so cute!

I am wearing a size medium in the vest so that I can layer it and a small in the top which is also from amazon. I can’t wait to show you guys more amazon pieces because some of their stuff is honestly so cute! I’m wearing a size 4 in the jeans (27) and they are TTS. The boots are Jessica Simpson a few seasons ago but I have linked similar ones for you!

Are you a plaid fan?

Happy Sunday! I hope everyone had a great weekend so far. Yesterday we celebrated Halloween a bit early and did a tornado escape room. It was so much fun and we beat it with 8 minutes left! My group of friends and I are now 3 for 3 and have beat every escape room we have tried. We love them and can’t wait to try some new ones.

I love staying cozy on Sundays, even if I am out and about or with friends & family and love to dress that cozy outfit up a bit. Off-the-shoulder tops are seriously my favorite and mixing in a sweater is even better. I love the way they look with the exposed shoulder. I am also crushing on these leggings that I got from Macys that are BCBGeneration. The faux leather line on them dresses them up a bit to look like more than just a pair of leggings. I easily dress these up or down.

I am wearing a medium in the sweater which is a little big. I got this sweater as a gift and it’s from Francesca’s fall line from 2017. I linked similar ones since they no longer have this one on their site. I am wearing a medium in the leggings, which fit perfectly. The shoes I am wearing a size 9.5 so that I can also wear socks with them.

What are your Sunday plans? Do you usually spend Sunday’s with family or just hanging around?

Favorite Fall Booties

Side Tie Bootie // Black Suede Ankle Bootie // Beige Suede Ankle Bootie // Jadet Side Slit Booties // Black Leather Booties

Hi Babes! Booties are my staple shoes for the fall and winter season, they go with jeans, skirts, dresses and even leggings/pants! So today I am sharing my Fall favorites. I tend to buy a lot of booties in the black and beige/brown family because I think they match with everything and are more versatile colors. I do have a few army green colored booties but black and beige have my heart.

I purchased all of these shoes in a 9.5 so they are TTS and fit so comfortably. I think my favorites out of all of these have to be the black suede Rebecca Bootie from DSW. I got them during their warehouse sale and am completely obsessed. The thick heel is adorable. These are a perfect example of a pair of booties that can be styled multiple ways. The other day on my stories, I shared the booties with an embroidered skirt and burnt orange blouse and got so many messages about how cute they looked with a skirt. Yesterday while running errands at the mall, I wore them with jeans and thought they looked adorable. I think it is so important to get shoes that can be used for various outfits and not ones that just fit with one thing!

Which of these booties are your favorite?

So I was not sure about this at first. When I ordered it, I thought it was a dress, but when I received it, I realized it was a two piece set. The material is really nice and the floral design is truly beautiful. It fit nicely and I ended up really liking it. I would probably wear this to a graduation party or events like that. It is perfect for spring or summer and was very comfortable. My mom hated it in the package actually but when I put it on she said it actually looked cute and would look cute with a bow or clip in my hair!

The weather has been horrible in NJ lately so I have not been able to take picture outside- don’t mind my fireplace and wall LOL. But I did end up loving this two piece!

Would you wear this?

XOXO,

Nina

This past Saturday we showered one of my best friends, Anna, for her upcoming wedding. It was a beautiful day and a beautiful shower. The shower was tea party themed like Alice and Wonderland so I had been searching for a flower dress to wear. I will do a whole post about all the decor and details that went into her shower, but I wanted to share about this amazing dress. I have been getting almost everything from Amazon lately because I love the fact that it comes in two days and can easily be returned by dropping it in the mail.

I loved the material of this dress and the lose fit. I knew I would be enjoying the food a little too much and wanted something that was not tight around my body. The back is lower cut and is just gorgeous. Since it was a tea party, we obviously all had to have hats. I also got the one pictured from Amazon. They have several colors and its actually a headband!

Do you order maxi dresses or short dresses?

Obsessing over this casual night-out outfit! I have been wanting one of these knotted sweaters for a while now and finally found one I love. I actually wore this backwards because I liked the cropped look with the knot in the front. The way this laid on me it was not revealing to the point where I couldn’t wear it backwards. The knot in the front created a cropped type of look. Also, wearing my new favorite jeans from Vestique. I talk about them a bit here, but I can’t talk about them enough. They fit perfectly, have some stretch in them, and are so comfortable. I highly recommend them!

I always look for a cute casual outfit so whether we decide to go out last minute or do a casual drink night, I am ready for either occasion. I also included the outfit a little more dressed up with a chunky necklace and strappy heels for those looking for something a little more dressy!

What’s your go-to casual yet dressy look? Let me know in the comments below.
