The New and Improved Water & Wine Site!

It is finally done and finally here, welcome to the new and improved Water & Wine!

Thanks to Blogerize, I now have the website I have been wanting but didn’t know how to do it! Back in October, Emily from Blogerize reached out to me asking if I would like to collab for a blog makeover and I was so excited! At first, I was a little apprehensive because I know how expensive a blog makeover could be, and they were offering it for free! I quickly did some research and read some reviews and realized how awesome this opportunity was, and I jumped on it! Then began the design process.

Emily and I emailed back and forth for a few days discussing what I was looking for in a blog, what colors and overall flow I wanted for my readers, and some other questions relating to my design. We also discussed my webhost. At the time, I was using wordpress.com with a premium account. In order to set up the blog I wanted I either needed a business plan or I needed to host my site elsewhere. After checking the price of a business account, I decided to go with Siteground, as my hosting site. I still have the premium account and just host my site on Siteground which is WAY cheaper. I pay a few dollars a month on Siteground and still am able to do things through WordPress.

Once this was set up, Emily moved my site to be hosted on Siteground, and we were able to add things like widgets! Then we started the actual design. Her team set up a design and sent it over. I knew the overall flow I wanted, so Emily really worked with me to make it EXACTLY what I wanted. It may have taken a bit long, but Emily was so patient with my crazy schedule and really worked with me to get it done.

Prior to working with Emily and Blogerize, I had set up a random template from Blogerize and really just did whatever to get it started never really knowing how to make it into what I wanted. I always loved having my topics with pictures from previous posts at the top and having categories that were easy to maneuver through and understand! I also wanted the sides to have recent posts, my instagram recent posts, and to include clickable buttons to be able to follow me on all social media accounts, if my followers wanted to.

My experience with blogerize has been absolutely amazing, and I would highly recommend them. I think it is so important to work with someone that is responsive, eager to help and teach you, and someone who will still respond/help once the design is done. To this day, I still ask Emily questions and she answers them and helps me without a problem!

Thank you Blogerize for this awesome experience!!!

Knit Sweater // Leather Leggings // Boots – dupes here & here

Good morning from New Jersey friends! It has been freezing here the last few days (in the 40’s) and I am constantly trying to find ways to stay warm! When did we skip fall and go straight to winter?! Fall is my favorite season and lately I feel like we are skipping fall entirely. The leaves here haven’t been turning their usual orange/red because of how cold it is, which makes me so sad! But, I am happy that we get to light the fire place and enjoy the warmth of the burning wood. My parents fire place pictured, is my favorite. You can sit on the ledge and enjoy the fire. We lit one the other night and it reminded me so much of the holidays.

Anyway, I am so glad I purchased this sweater & these faux leather leggings. I always loved the look of an oversized sweater and leggings and the faux leather leggings really help to dress the outfit up a bit. Throw on some OTK boots and you have the perfect fall to winter transitional outfit!

My Stuart Weitzman OTK boots are always a closet staple for me. I got them when they were on sale one Black Friday and literally always wear them. I usually size up in Stuart’s by a half of size, especially if they are closed toe. I have linked some dupes as well! I am wearing a medium in the leather leggings but honestly they are a bit big and I could have sized down in them. The sweater is a bit big but it’s a one size and I was looking for an oversized sweater, so it worked out!

Fashion Nova Hoodie Dress

Hoodie Dress // Booties (sold out), similar here & here // Boots // OTK boots, similar cheaper options here & here

Good morning babes! I hope you all have a wonderful Thursday! I am all about comfortable style as the weather starts to cool down, so I was really excited about this hoodie dress! I’ve ordered a few things from fashion nova now and am loving their stuff.

I love versatile items that can be worn casually or dressy, and this hoodie Dress is the perfect item! Today I’ll pair it with three different types of shoes so that you can see that this dress can be worn casually and dressy, and see which way you would prefer to wear it. This also comes in 2-3 other colors and is perfect as the weather continues to get cooler.

This hoodie dress is a bit big, but that is the look I was going for. I was looking for something I can lounge in if I wanted to and that I could feel comfortable in. I got a size medium but the small would have been fine. I also linked some cheaper versions of my Stuart Weitzman OTK boots.

Would you wear this cute hoodie dress?

Xo,

Nina
