I recently traveled to Napa, CA for my friend Anna’s Bachelorette Party and it was so much fun! Due to a few cancelations in flights, we did not get to spend as much time as we wanted to there, but still had a ton of fun. Just incase you plan on traveling there I wanted to share where we stayed, what we did, and where we went 🙂
PLACES TO STAY
We stayed at the very beautiful Hampton Inn & Suites in Napa, CA.
The hotel was extremely clean, gorgeous and their breakfast was to die for. I always try to look for hotels that include breakfast and kind of always assume it will be a regular small continental, but this was everything and more. They had a waffle maker, eggs, bacon, sausage, oatmeal, yogurt, cereal, and so much more. The rooms were so nice and there bathrooms were gorgeous. They also offered free wine at 5pm everyday, which is so nice. The hotel had various wineries within a 10-30 minute drive (we used Uber’s) and had wine rooms right in the center of town which was a 10 minute drive. They also had a shopping center next door which had a target, in and out burger, food store, and much more.
THINGS TO DO
The bride requested that we go to Chandon Winery because they are the makers of her wedding gown. So of course, the maid of honor booked us some time there and we did an awesome cocktail class. It was SO much fun! They provided all the ingredients and the directions and we got to make three awesome cocktails.
Afterwards we got to sit there and enjoy our drinks. So, we got some platters that they offered and made a day out of it. It was such a beautiful place and the ambiance was amazing.
2. Starmont Winery:
Our first stop was a wine room right in the heart of Napa! Capp Heritage was a cute little place with such gorgeous chairs, a small stage for live entertainment, and cute decor. We did a wine tasting and their wines were amazing. I’m a red wine kind of girl and everything was so good!
How cute are our shirts? The bride loves Disney so we found these adorable bachelorette Disney themed shirts! Etsy is always perfect for those kinds of things 🙂
Napkins is the place to go if you are looking for a night out with your girls. It was extremely busy, but the music was good and everyone was up and dancing! It was a lot of fun!
PLACES TO EAT
The food was absolutely amazing here. Although a bit expensive, the quality of the food made up for it as well as the overall atmosphere. We ate outside and it was so nice out and on a little river that you can look out on. The Garlic Fries that comes as a side is so good and I highly recommend it. For dinner I got the black pepper hanger steak and my friend got the Maine Lobster Risotto. Both extremely good and full of flavor.
2. Red Hen Cantina
This place was so unbelievably delicious. The amount of food you get is un-matched by any restaurant. To start, we got appetizers of Guacamole & Chips. But, you also get chips and salsa as soon as they seat you. We each got different items on the menu, but I stuck to the steak fajitas that were so amazing. The flavor was out of this world. I highly recommend stopping here if you have the chance.
All in all, it was an amazing trip and I cannot wait to go back there one day!
