Friday is finally here! I am so excited because we are celebrating my great aunt’s 90th birthday tonight and I can’t wait to be all together with my family. My parents are away and won’t be there so we will miss them but I can’t wait to see everyone! We are also celebrating my friends birthday on Saturday, so we have a full weekend of plans ahead of us.
Since Thanksgiving is less than 3 weeks away, I have started thinking about outfits to wear. My parents host Thanksgiving and we wake up at like 7am to start cooking and preparing. It is something I look forward to each year, and can’t wait for this year. I found this gorgeous embroidered skirt at Francesca’s and knew I had to have it. It works perfect for the fall but I also feel like it works perfect for Thanksgiving with a nice top, pair of boots or booties, and a cute Pea Coat. In the next few weeks I will be sharing some Thanksgiving Outfit inspiration for anyone looking for something to wear, so be on the look out 🙂 I saw while linking the skirt there was only a few left so if it is sold out, here are a few almost identical ones that Francescas has – here, here, & here.
I am wearing a medium in the skirt, which I think is pretty true to size for their clothing. I tend to get mediums in pants and bottoms here because I have wide hips and the small doesn’t look right. The top is from TJ Maxx and I cannot find it online, but I linked some similar ones. Lastly, I am wearing a 9.5 in my Stuart’s (I always size up by 1/2 a size). I linked similar booties for you guys as well. I know I link a lot of Stuart Weitzman shoes. I believe in investing in shoes and items that will last long and are more bang for my buck. They were expensive, but they definitely last longer than most shoes I have. But I will always link similar cheaper versions as well!
What are your weekend plans?

I hope those of you in cold weather are bundling up because it’s a cold one today! As the weather continues to transition, I love finding ways to still wear “summer” items during the various seasons. One thing I absolutely love, is layering pieces over summer dresses! Depending on the dress and items used, you can make such a cute outfit.
I couldn’t get over how cute this plaid dress was and knew I had to find a way to wear it in the fall, so I thought this adorable sweater at franscesca’s and decided to layer them with some OTK boots. The dress is from SHEIN, so see my post about sizing here (wearing a size medium here and it’s not super tight) and the sweater is slightly big so I would size down (wearing a small).
I knew this sweater would be so cute layered and I’m so glad it is. Other ways you can wear it would be over a collared shirt for work or ever with jeans and a leather jacket with some booties for a date night. Loving how versatile these pieces are!

Hi Babes! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. I shared this gorgeous sweater on my stories yesterday and everyone is loving it! I have always ordered clothing from Amazon because it is honestly so simple and with Prime I get all of my items within two days. This has come in handy when I need something the week of an event and it comes in within two days & if I decide I do not like the item, it is free returns. I have become an Amazon Fashion fan & can’t wait to show you guys what else I got!
My husband, my in-laws and I went pumpkin picking yesterday and it was so much fun! It was a nice crisp day out and perfect for the pumpkin patch. We went to Wightman’s Farm which is honestly one of my favorite places. It has become so much more popular so it was extremely busy but they have so much to do there. They have apple picking, pumpkin picking with a hay ride, pumpkin sling shot, various food trucks, a picnic spot, and a store where you can buy fresh donuts, pies, groceries, home decor, and treats! I also have to mention that they have roasted corn on a stick and pickles on a stick! So good!
Anyway, this sweater came right on time and handy this weekend because we had plans to go Pumpkin picking and it was about 60 degrees out! Although this sweater is not heavy, it still kept me plenty warm! The ruffle detail on the front and on the sleeves is adorable and I got so many comments on it at the pumpkin patch. I am wearing a size small in this sweater and I would say it is TTS. I love clothing in the color olive for the fall so when I saw these light olive jeans, I knew I had to have them. I am wearing a size 4 for reference and they fit very TTS. Lastly, I got these booties two seasons ago but am still obsessing over them. They aren’t extremely high and look perfect with jeans, so they have become one of my go to’s! I linked similar ones up above.
Do you like ruffle details on tops?
