Today was my turn to share how I style my faux leather leggings and I’m so excited!! I wear these literally all fall and winter. They are my go to for just about everything and a major staple in my closet.
1. Layering with pieces you already have
An easy way to style leather leggings is to use pieces that are already in your closet. Everyone (ok maybe not everyone but still) has a plaid shirt and plain sweater in their closet. Throw them together and you have the perfect layered look. I paired it with a pair of booties but knee high or OTK boots would work well to!
2. Faux Fur Vest
Another way to style is with a longer sweater and faux fur vest! Such an easy way to keep warm as the weather starts to get colder and the holidays approach. Although not extremely dressy, this is a look i would wear for thanksgiving!
3. Casual Look
Take a long t-shirt (this one was a little longer and looser on my pre-pregnancy), layer it with a graphic sweatshirt , and throw on a pair of your favorite sneakers and you have an easy casual look! I love to run errands in something like this. I miss those days lol
4. Long sweaters and a pop of snake skin
Ugh missing my extensions and lighter hair haha but another favorite of mine is just a long sweater to cover that booty and a pop of color or print. I love the look of the snake skin print on these booties ! Also, this sweater is a MUST. It’s from amazon and can be worn off the shoulder. I wore a bralette underneath since the cuts make it a bit see through.
5. Layering with a faux leather jacket
Who else loves a little leather on leather action? Cause I know I do! This may be a little too matchy matchy but just such a simple outfit to throw together on the fly! Accessorize it with some hair pins or a headband and you are set!
6. Casual with a jacket
This is something I wore so much last year and will do the same this year. Any jacket will do but love the black and brown together.

Friday is finally here! I am so excited because we are celebrating my great aunt’s 90th birthday tonight and I can’t wait to be all together with my family. My parents are away and won’t be there so we will miss them but I can’t wait to see everyone! We are also celebrating my friends birthday on Saturday, so we have a full weekend of plans ahead of us.
Since Thanksgiving is less than 3 weeks away, I have started thinking about outfits to wear. My parents host Thanksgiving and we wake up at like 7am to start cooking and preparing. It is something I look forward to each year, and can’t wait for this year. I found this gorgeous embroidered skirt at Francesca’s and knew I had to have it. It works perfect for the fall but I also feel like it works perfect for Thanksgiving with a nice top, pair of boots or booties, and a cute Pea Coat. In the next few weeks I will be sharing some Thanksgiving Outfit inspiration for anyone looking for something to wear, so be on the look out 🙂 I saw while linking the skirt there was only a few left so if it is sold out, here are a few almost identical ones that Francescas has – here, here, & here.
I am wearing a medium in the skirt, which I think is pretty true to size for their clothing. I tend to get mediums in pants and bottoms here because I have wide hips and the small doesn’t look right. The top is from TJ Maxx and I cannot find it online, but I linked some similar ones. Lastly, I am wearing a 9.5 in my Stuart’s (I always size up by 1/2 a size). I linked similar booties for you guys as well. I know I link a lot of Stuart Weitzman shoes. I believe in investing in shoes and items that will last long and are more bang for my buck. They were expensive, but they definitely last longer than most shoes I have. But I will always link similar cheaper versions as well!
Today is my first day back to work after having a few days off and it’s definitely rough! But, considering tomorrow’s Friday, hopefully these two days go fast! I have a full weekend planned that I am really excited about!
I always look for cute layering items, as you can tell from my last few posts, and always find myself buying vests. They are perfect to go over a shirt or sweater. I found this cute plaid vest on amazon while looking at some clothes and knew I had to have it. I love plaid for the fall and thought this beige one was so cute!
I am wearing a size medium in the vest so that I can layer it and a small in the top which is also from amazon. I can’t wait to show you guys more amazon pieces because some of their stuff is honestly so cute! I’m wearing a size 4 in the jeans (27) and they are TTS. The boots are Jessica Simpson a few seasons ago but I have linked similar ones for you!
Good morning from New Jersey friends! It has been freezing here the last few days (in the 40’s) and I am constantly trying to find ways to stay warm! When did we skip fall and go straight to winter?! Fall is my favorite season and lately I feel like we are skipping fall entirely. The leaves here haven’t been turning their usual orange/red because of how cold it is, which makes me so sad! But, I am happy that we get to light the fire place and enjoy the warmth of the burning wood. My parents fire place pictured, is my favorite. You can sit on the ledge and enjoy the fire. We lit one the other night and it reminded me so much of the holidays.
Anyway, I am so glad I purchased this sweater & these faux leather leggings. I always loved the look of an oversized sweater and leggings and the faux leather leggings really help to dress the outfit up a bit. Throw on some OTK boots and you have the perfect fall to winter transitional outfit!
My Stuart Weitzman OTK boots are always a closet staple for me. I got them when they were on sale one Black Friday and literally always wear them. I usually size up in Stuart’s by a half of size, especially if they are closed toe. I have linked some dupes as well! I am wearing a medium in the leather leggings but honestly they are a bit big and I could have sized down in them. The sweater is a bit big but it’s a one size and I was looking for an oversized sweater, so it worked out!
I hope those of you in cold weather are bundling up because it’s a cold one today! As the weather continues to transition, I love finding ways to still wear “summer” items during the various seasons. One thing I absolutely love, is layering pieces over summer dresses! Depending on the dress and items used, you can make such a cute outfit.
I couldn’t get over how cute this plaid dress was and knew I had to find a way to wear it in the fall, so I thought this adorable sweater at franscesca’s and decided to layer them with some OTK boots. The dress is from SHEIN, so see my post about sizing here (wearing a size medium here and it’s not super tight) and the sweater is slightly big so I would size down (wearing a small).
I knew this sweater would be so cute layered and I’m so glad it is. Other ways you can wear it would be over a collared shirt for work or ever with jeans and a leather jacket with some booties for a date night. Loving how versatile these pieces are!
Every fall, I try to find more and more ways to keep warm because in New Jersey, it seems to entirely skip fall and go to the cool temperatures of low 50’s. Investing in a few good basic pieces is so important in a fall wardrobe. I love turtle neck sweaters and fell in love with this cut off turtleneck Sweater when I first saw it.
I bought this turtle neck sweater at TJ Maxx from Ivanka Trumps line last fall. It is a cut off but is extremely cozy. I got it because it is so versatile and can be worn alone or over a long sleeve shirt/dress. I am wearing a medium here and it is kind of big but I wanted it that way so I could layer it. I have linked some similar items sweaters below! I also love how it can be worn tucked or untucked into jeans, depending on the look you are going for!
These jeans and booties have been on repeat lately because they are so comfortable and really go well with everything. This leather jacket from express has also become a favorite of mine (wearing size M). It pairs well with anything and comes in 14 different colors. Express always has such great clothing and styles and this leather moto jacket did not disappoint.
