Makeup Monday – Skin Care – 11/11/19

Happy Monday. My intention was to get this up first thing in the morning, but unfortunately my Tula products didn’t come in as planned until just now.

I am always getting asked about skincare so I figured why not share my amazing Tula products. This is not sponsored in anyway, I purchased these on my own and love them! I will always give my honest review, so please know that!

#1 | Glow Getter Kit

Before I ordered this kit, I already had three of the items but needed more. So I can speak on these products personally. I will start with the cleanser first. This stuff is AMAZING. It not only smells amazing, but it works wonders and keeps your face smelling food. It has cleared up our skin, and kept it hydrated. Next up is the primer, and guys this stuff is GOOD. I wear it under my makeup and it just makes it look so gorgeous. It is the best I have ever tried. The last item I have is the Rose Glow. I got it when they released it and love it as much as the blue original one which I will talk about below. This is so good and gives a highlighted glow. The kit also comes with the toiletry bag and the sheet masks which can be a perfect gift.

I will also link them separately in case you are interested in one and not all.

#2 | Glow & Get It Stick

I take this on any trip I go on for some quick and needed hydration! Especially Europe flights where some brightness under the eye is needed! This can be worn under the eyes with or without makeup.

#3 | Oil Free Gel Cream

This is a new product to me but I am SO excited to try it and use it. I will report back but they say its like a glass of water for your face !!

Makeup Monday – Value Sets

It’s just another Makeup Monday!! This weekend went way too fast and I am not ready for the week, yet here we are. I have another busy week ahead. Fall for us is always very busy, not complaining, but it is tiring haha Anyway, I saw that Sephora released their value sets and I LIVEEEEE for these. They are usually always really well priced and the perfect gifts for the holidays. I even stock up on some for myself!

#1Tatcha Dewy Glow Set

This set sells for $65 but values for $105 and includes a dewy skin cream, a dewy skin mist, a radiance mask, and their silk canvas. It is sooo worth it. I purchased the Dewy Skin Cream this past summer for $68 so to get all of this for $65 and be able to try the products is awesome. A little of these products really goes a long way so even a small bottle will last a while. These products are good for normal and dry skin. I have very dry skin and the Cream gives me long lasting hydration.

#2Kiehl’s Bright Delights

The products in this set retails for $87 but is being sold together for $50. Kiehl’s has always been a popular brand and a favorite of mine. I love their body lotions and have been wanting to try their facial products. This set includes 5 total items including Midnight Recovery Concentrate, Avocado Creamy Eye Treatment, Ultra Facial Cream, Avocado Nourishing Hydration Mask, and Toner.

#3Ready to Roll Brush Set

Valued at over $195, you can get all this for only $70. 10 brushes and a brush roll to complete any makeup look. Not only are there facial brushes, but also brushes to get the complete eye look that you want! && with the roll you get a built in travel case.

#4Pillow Talk Lip Kit

You can get this set for $35 or you can get just the lipstick for $34. This set is very worth it and is one of my favorite lip combos for all seasons. Pillow talk is one of those colors that just works so well and looks good.

#5The Fab 4 Set

You can get these products for $45! I use both nightly repair items as part of my skin care routine and love them both. They are very worth it, and the other products seem like they are too.

#6The No-Brainer Set

If you have never tried products from The Ordinary, you need to. They are really reasonably priced. You don’t get as much of a discount by getting this set and only save a few dollars, but you an get it for $29. I have a few of their products that I use daily and love them.

#7Naked Honey Drop Vault

All of Urban Decay NAKED products are bomb! I have a few palettes and love them! You get so much in this vault and can get it all for $115. This is the most expensive one, but so so worth it. The coppery honey tones in the palette are too die for!

#8The Daily Set

More items from the ordinary but again such good products! They seem to have put together the perfect packages depending on what you are looking for. You can get all of this for $19.

Hope you enjoyed today’s Makeup Monday!

Makeup Monday – Boxy Charm

HI Babes!

Welcome to the first ever #makeupmonday with Water & Wine! So I have been wanting to do something different and do something new everyday! Monday’s will now be makeup Monday where I share either my boxy charm or new makeup items I am loving.

My boxy charm box came in on Friday so I figured I would make this the first one. I pay for Boxy Charm on my own, and I love it. I get full sized products and rarely get something I do not like. They include such good products and almost all the products are worth more than the $21 I spend on the box, so to me it is worth it. I am going to jump right into each item. I have tried stuff from these brands before and love it. I will update you on what I think as I continue to use them.

#1 – Dose of Colors – Sassy Sienna’s Eyeshadow Palette

This palette has the perfect shades of brown, orange, and coppers. I find that shades like this really make my brown eyes pop and I love anything that Dose of Colors comes out with. SO excited to play with this palette!

#2 Iconic London | Prep-Set-Glow

I see people using this spray all the time in makeup videos and have actually tried it before at the store, but convinced myself I didn’t need it so needless to say I was SUPER happy to see this as part of my box. You can use it before applying your makeup, to set your makeup, or to add some glow to your skin.

#3 Hank & Henry | Slick With It Mascara Duo

So this mascara has to sides. One for the top lashes and a smaller applicator for the bottom lashes. At first I thought this was a primer/mascara duo, but I am excited to try it. I always find that my lower lashes clump with the regular applicator so I cannot wait to see how this one is.

#4 Mellow | Tinted Brow Gel

I have never tried a tinted gel before! I usually don’t do anything to my brows because I find that they are very thick lol. Jamie, the makeup artist that did my wedding makeup, filled them in for the wedding and I loved them. I have been trying to re-create it ever since. I have found that filling them in with a pencil is too much, but am excited to try the gel.

#5 GO2 Beauty | Sheet Masks

I have been a HUGE fan of GO2’s sheet masks for a long time now. I have never tried these exact ones yet, but am excited to see how they are! I can’t find them online but have found them in stores!

Hope you have loved this #MakeupMonday. Check back next Monday for a few of my favorites.
