Found It On Amazon Friday – 10/18/19

Happy Friday!! Is it just me or did this week go seriously fast?! Anyway, so excited to share my first #FoundItOnAmazonFriday! I literally get everything and anything from Amazon and have for the longest time. I even ordered all of my halloween costume items from there for the past few years and they never disappoint.

#1, 2, 3 & 4Scoop neck bodysuit | Brown Leather Skirt | White Sherpa Area Rug | Sticky Bra

Wearing a medium in the bodysuit and skirt. Wearing a normal size in my sticky bra (C). This sticky bra is literally the best. I use it anytime I am wearing a lower cut shirt or a shirt that I do not want the straps to show. I have actually had this skirt since winter and loved it. It pairs so well with so much, and I have been looking for a good white bodysuit for layering. Also this sherpa rug is AMAZING. I am ordering some larger ones to put around the house. It is really cozy and warm.

#5Halter Neck Dress

I love dresses like this that cinch at the waist and are flattering to every bottom type. I have a curvy bottom and love dresses like this that accentuate my waist. Wearing a small in the dress and a small in the jacket. I have had this leather jacket for a few years now and LOVE it. Wearing a 9.5 in the booties. Although pricey, I have had them for over two years and they are still perfect. I also have them in white.

#6 – Sweater

Ok this i my favorite outfit. The sweater is SO comfy and I love it paired with the leather leggings (from Express) and the Snake Booties. I am wearing a small in the sweater, medium in the pants, and 9 in the boots. I would simply pair it with a lace bralette and you have the perfect outfit.

Try On Tuesday – 10/15/19

Happy Tuesday! For my #TryOnTuesdayWithWaterAndWine I am sharing items from Nordstrom Rack and Kohls that I recently ordered. I have decided to share things even if they do not work for me, because they might work for you! I will share sizing and everything under each picture. Happy shopping loves!

#1

Skirt | Top | Hat | Shoes | Shoes 2 | Shoes 3 | Rug

So this outfit actually showcases two new items. Obsessed with this look for the fall. Totally something I would wear! The skirt was a bit too thin for what I like, but is really cute and flattering. I also got this top in black. It is the perfect layering long sleeve tee and works with everything. Wearing a small in the skirt, a small in the top, and a 9.5 in the shoes.

#2

Skirt

Another outfit I am LOVING. I usually would pair this with black pieces, but wanted to showcase how you do not always have to! It really lightens it up by pairing it with white. Wearing a small in the skirt and it is still loose. It was bundled up and wrinkly so you cannot see how it really is in that sense. Everything is TTS.

#3

Skirt | Boots | Boots 2 | Boots 3 | Jacket | Hat

Ok I love this skirt. Very form fitting, I would say TTS. I ordered a medium but it was baggy around my stomach. If you are curvy like me, this will be very form fitting. I am wearing a medium in the skirt. This is the same shirt as above just in black. Wearing a 9.5 in the boots and the leather jacket is a medium (big for layering).

#4

Jeans | Sneakers | Jacket | Shirt

I love some casual outfits and this for sure is one! I got this jacket from Kohl’s and it is so warm. I got a medium but it is too big/I am not keeping it because I wanted some of that sherpa wool on the outside and thought this would be more like that. I am wearing a 4 in jeans and a small in the top. The top is very oversized so you can size down but I wanted my usual size. Wearing a 9 in the sneakers.

#5

Top

I am seriously in love with this shirt. It is so cute and so flattering. Wearing a small and it is perfect.

#6

Top

Another casual top that is super cute and comfortable. You can totally size down because it is oversized but it covers the bum!

Amazon Try on Haul – Fall 2019

As you all know Amazon is my one stop shop for EVERYTHING lol. I get home decor, furniture, work stuff, clothing, shoes, swimsuits and so much more from them. The quality is usually great 95% of the time, but the key is to read reviews and know what you are buying. I also wouldn’t buy anything with a low rating.

You can also head over to my stories or Amazon highlight to watch me talk about all of these items, if you want to hear what I have to say haha BUT anyway, here we go.

Hat || Cardigan || Jeans || Top || Flats || Booties || Adhesive Bra

This will probably be one of my go to fall looks. It is so easy to dress it up or down with flats or booties and just so simple and cute. I am wearing a 4 in the tank, 6 in the jeans (levis run small for me I always size up), small in the cardigan, 9 in the flats, and 9 in the booties but ordered a 9.5 as they are a tiny bit snug.

Top || Cardigan || Jeans || Booties || Similar Booties

I am wearing this cardigan in a small but it is definitely oversized. Haven’t decided if I am a huge fan of this one yet only because I have one so similar but still haven’t decided. Wearing a 9.5 in my booties and a small in the top. I honestly just paired this quickly, but you can do so many things with it. Wear it with a dress or skirt, so many options.

Tees

I am NOT a fan of crew neck tighter tees, so this is not up my alley, but if you are, these shirts were seriously so comfortable and would be super cute for laying pieces in the fall. You get a pack of 2 and this one came with a white and black stripes shirt. I am wearing medium but it was way to big on my body but fine for my arms. I like the loose tees better for layering. They are currently unavailable but come back in stock often.

Tank

Ok I thought I was getting like a chiffon material here but its cotton. Still super cute but I am looking for more of the chiffon one. I am wearing a small and otherwise really like it. I might still keep it, not sure yet haha

Skirt || Tee || Jacket || Booties

This will be another fall favorite outfit without a doubt. I just love graphic tees tied up and think its super cute with jeans. I love it paired with the leather too! Wearing a small in the skirt, medium in tee, medium in jacket (size up for layering), and 9.5 in shoes.

Dress

I am loving this dress color for the fall and the dress itself is super cute so it is a win win! I would totally wear it for Thanksgiving too! Wearing a medium.

Dress

THIS THIS THIS. Obsessed. It is a bit see through so make sure you wear nude or white undies, but its amazing. IF their are any brides getting married in the fall or winter and need a cute dress this is it!. The sleeves are also super stretchy. Wearing a small.

Romper || Similar Boots 1 2 3 4

This outfit is everything. I love green olive colors with beiges and browns. These boots are old Stuart Weitzmans but I linked some similar ones. The romper is a size medium.

Jacket || Dress

So I looked and this dress is a small but its very big. Nothing a belt can’t fix because it is super cute. Also the jacket doesn’t match, I know, but I was looking for a grey Faux Leather Coat and found this color and am loving it.

More will be coming soon! Hope you enjoyed 🙂

The New and Improved Water & Wine Site!

It is finally done and finally here, welcome to the new and improved Water & Wine!

Thanks to Blogerize, I now have the website I have been wanting but didn’t know how to do it! Back in October, Emily from Blogerize reached out to me asking if I would like to collab for a blog makeover and I was so excited! At first, I was a little apprehensive because I know how expensive a blog makeover could be, and they were offering it for free! I quickly did some research and read some reviews and realized how awesome this opportunity was, and I jumped on it! Then began the design process.

Emily and I emailed back and forth for a few days discussing what I was looking for in a blog, what colors and overall flow I wanted for my readers, and some other questions relating to my design. We also discussed my webhost. At the time, I was using wordpress.com with a premium account. In order to set up the blog I wanted I either needed a business plan or I needed to host my site elsewhere. After checking the price of a business account, I decided to go with Siteground, as my hosting site. I still have the premium account and just host my site on Siteground which is WAY cheaper. I pay a few dollars a month on Siteground and still am able to do things through WordPress.

Once this was set up, Emily moved my site to be hosted on Siteground, and we were able to add things like widgets! Then we started the actual design. Her team set up a design and sent it over. I knew the overall flow I wanted, so Emily really worked with me to make it EXACTLY what I wanted. It may have taken a bit long, but Emily was so patient with my crazy schedule and really worked with me to get it done.

Prior to working with Emily and Blogerize, I had set up a random template from Blogerize and really just did whatever to get it started never really knowing how to make it into what I wanted. I always loved having my topics with pictures from previous posts at the top and having categories that were easy to maneuver through and understand! I also wanted the sides to have recent posts, my instagram recent posts, and to include clickable buttons to be able to follow me on all social media accounts, if my followers wanted to.

My experience with blogerize has been absolutely amazing, and I would highly recommend them. I think it is so important to work with someone that is responsive, eager to help and teach you, and someone who will still respond/help once the design is done. To this day, I still ask Emily questions and she answers them and helps me without a problem!

Thank you Blogerize for this awesome experience!!!

Similar Shirt here, here, & here // Skirt // Booties – similar and cheaper here & here

Friday is finally here! I am so excited because we are celebrating my great aunt’s 90th birthday tonight and I can’t wait to be all together with my family. My parents are away and won’t be there so we will miss them but I can’t wait to see everyone! We are also celebrating my friends birthday on Saturday, so we have a full weekend of plans ahead of us.

Since Thanksgiving is less than 3 weeks away, I have started thinking about outfits to wear. My parents host Thanksgiving and we wake up at like 7am to start cooking and preparing. It is something I look forward to each year, and can’t wait for this year. I found this gorgeous embroidered skirt at Francesca’s and knew I had to have it. It works perfect for the fall but I also feel like it works perfect for Thanksgiving with a nice top, pair of boots or booties, and a cute Pea Coat. In the next few weeks I will be sharing some Thanksgiving Outfit inspiration for anyone looking for something to wear, so be on the look out 🙂 I saw while linking the skirt there was only a few left so if it is sold out, here are a few almost identical ones that Francescas has – here, here, & here.

I am wearing a medium in the skirt, which I think is pretty true to size for their clothing. I tend to get mediums in pants and bottoms here because I have wide hips and the small doesn’t look right. The top is from TJ Maxx and I cannot find it online, but I linked some similar ones. Lastly, I am wearing a 9.5 in my Stuart’s (I always size up by 1/2 a size). I linked similar booties for you guys as well. I know I link a lot of Stuart Weitzman shoes. I believe in investing in shoes and items that will last long and are more bang for my buck. They were expensive, but they definitely last longer than most shoes I have. But I will always link similar cheaper versions as well!

What are your weekend plans?

Knit Sweater // Leather Leggings // Boots – dupes here & here

Good morning from New Jersey friends! It has been freezing here the last few days (in the 40’s) and I am constantly trying to find ways to stay warm! When did we skip fall and go straight to winter?! Fall is my favorite season and lately I feel like we are skipping fall entirely. The leaves here haven’t been turning their usual orange/red because of how cold it is, which makes me so sad! But, I am happy that we get to light the fire place and enjoy the warmth of the burning wood. My parents fire place pictured, is my favorite. You can sit on the ledge and enjoy the fire. We lit one the other night and it reminded me so much of the holidays.

Anyway, I am so glad I purchased this sweater & these faux leather leggings. I always loved the look of an oversized sweater and leggings and the faux leather leggings really help to dress the outfit up a bit. Throw on some OTK boots and you have the perfect fall to winter transitional outfit!

My Stuart Weitzman OTK boots are always a closet staple for me. I got them when they were on sale one Black Friday and literally always wear them. I usually size up in Stuart’s by a half of size, especially if they are closed toe. I have linked some dupes as well! I am wearing a medium in the leather leggings but honestly they are a bit big and I could have sized down in them. The sweater is a bit big but it’s a one size and I was looking for an oversized sweater, so it worked out!
